I had a great experience this week. All due to the beauty of social media and Twitter.
As a big fan of the trend and design site PSFK, I had been following Piers Fawkes @psfk tweets for a while. Early last week, Piers tweeted that he’d be in Atlanta and asked if any of his online followers wanted to grab a coffee when he was in town. Fast forward a few days and a handful of us were spending time with Piers casually talking about art, design, and trends. Piers didn’t know any of us but clearly thought we could all gain something by spending time together and sharing ideas. A social connection almost impossible without technology. Thanks Twitter for enabling the breaking down walls.
